Public Information Event

Thursday 28th April 2016 from 2pm to 8pm

GreenPower (International) Ltd has recently submitted an Environment Statement Addendum and related information to South Ayrshire Council in respect of revisions it is making to the proposed Millenderdale Wind Farm near Lendalfoot. The revisions involve a reduction in the number and maximum tip height of the proposed wind turbines.

A public information event is being held at Lendalfoot Hall, Lendalfoot near Girvan, KA26 0JW on Thursday 28th April from 2pm to 8pm. This event will provide an opportunity to find out more about the revised proposals and to ask any questions you may have.

Community Benefit Consultation Workshop

Thursday 30th October 2014 at 6.30pm to 9pm
The Carrick Buildings Learning Centre, Henrietta Street, Girvan, KA26 9AL

The event will be held in a workshop format, with an introduction by GreenPower and then an interactive session which will be led by an independent facilitator.

In order to help shape and develop a meaningful community benefit package we would welcome contributions and thoughts at the workshop on the following areas of interest:

  • What priorities exist within the South Carrick area which would benefit from community benefit funding?
  • Should there be a core geographical area for community benefit funding?
  • Are there helpful experiences from other community benefit schemes which could help shape this one?
  • How might a community benefit package be managed?

We would welcome any contribution on these and any other matters relevant to community benefits.

Please note that the Planning Application process and the Community Benefit consultation/establishment process are entirely separate, and community benefit is not a material consideration in the assessment of the planning application.
